Trentino porphyry tiles are used for outdoor paving in both public and private settings. They are available with a natural finish, with split or sawn edges, and in thicknesses selected based on their intended use.
Natural flat porphyry tiles are supplied with sheared (also called split) or sawn sides. They are used for both public and private outdoor paving, using the most appropriate sizes and thicknesses, subjected to heavy traffic. Sizes can be running or fixed.
Porphyry tiles with hollow top and sheared sides can have normal thickness (varying from 2 to 5 cm.) or coarse thickness (varying from 5 to 8 cm.). The sides are split by machinery and are always parallel with right angles.
Natural plane tiles with sawn sides are divided according to thicknesses, which are non-uniform and vary from 2 to 5 cm for paving with occasional vehicular traffic, from 3 to 7 cm for light traffic surfaces, and from 5 to 8 cm for heavy traffic driveway paving.
