Skirting board - porphyry skirting board

In stone staircase construction, risers are used to cover the vertical part of the step. They are obtained from "saw slabs" with thin thickness, varying from 1cm to 3cm, and sawn sides. Trentino porphyry risers can be supplied with:

  • natural quarry surface with sawn sides, fixed or running length, edges if seen can be gauged and machined.
  • Flamed textured finish top previously sawn as the sides, with required thickness usually from 2 cm.
  • polished top previously sawn then polished
  • sandblasted top: top previously sawn then blasted

Workings other than natural quarry surface can also be provided for indoor stairs. In fact, they are machined in such a way that they are comfortable for daily treading indoors.
