Andrea Angheben

Director of the Consortium

One of the main success factors of C.I.P.T. - Italporphyry is certainly that of having aggregated the most important and historical companies in the Trentino stratified porphyry sector into a single production-commercial reality. Men, entrepreneurs but also whole families, inextricably linked to porphyry by two, three, up to four generations and now united towards a common goal, strong in the experience and profound knowledge of a material that fully belongs to the "gota" of ornamental stones.

In pursuing this precise goal with foresight, stubbornness and will, C.I.P.T. also has the merit of having involved some of the industry's outstanding figures in its path of growth and consolidation. One of these is undoubtedly director Andrea Angheben. Raised as they say "on bread and porphyry" in a family that has struggled to maximize the value of this unmistakable material since as far back as 1922, the director is probably a unique figure in the panorama not only of porphyry but also of stone in general. In fact, Angheben's university education and right from the start has been complemented by direct work experience with the management of a craft business dedicated to porphyry laying, paving and vertical cladding. An explosive combination made of continuous study and updating on the one hand, and great practical experience on the other, which allowed Angheben to develop what has been the key to his more than 30 years of work experience: that is, to establish himself as one of the rare personalities in the porphyry industry, fueled by an inexhaustible passion for stone and deep knowledge of materials and procedures, always able to find an answer to any design problems and, above all, a point of contact between the language of professionals and technicians in the field with the very different, often divergent, and typical language of construction site life belonging to performers, craftsmen and installers. With the consequence of having assumed, in a very few years, the role of a real point of reference in the porphyry sector between these two categories complementary to each other and earning in the field the full respect of the craftsmen installers and the great esteem of the design world.

Today, customers who intend to turn to C.I.P.T. Italporphry can enjoy the guarantee of certain, quality supplies. But at the same time, thanks to the director Andrea Angheben, he will be able to avail himself at any time of technical and design assistance as well as consultancy services, including specific and detailed ones, that no other company in the porphyry sector is able to offer. From an analysis of her resume below are the opportunities, in various capacities and depending on the circumstances, also for the C.I.P.T. client:
